Karrie Lynn Dymond began her musical career at the tender age of ten, but it was 2005 when she decided to hit the studio to record for the first time. What was sure to be just the beginning of a meteoric rise, hits like “Breakin’ Away,” helped Karrie Lynn skyrocket to the top 50 in the Canadian Country Music Charts.
Karrie Lynn was set to take North America by storm, travelling to Nashville to write and perform as well successful tours across Canada when the ultimate tragedy struck. In 2007, at the age of 13, Karrie Lynn’s son Kyle passed away from a brain aneurysm. Proving that life has a way of kicking people when they’re already down, shortly after the devastating loss of her only child, Karrie Lynn found herself trapped in the clutches of a sadistic and abusive relationship. After two years enduring severe domestic violence and with the help of some amazing people, Karrie Lynn managed to escape that situation.
